Social arraigo
Temporary residence for exceptional circumstances for someone who has been in Spain for at least two years and has family ties with residents or a social-integration report.
The button opens the administration’s website in another tab. MiCitas does not sign in or fill anything in there.
Who it is for
A foreign national in Spain for at least two years, with a spouse, registered partner or first-degree direct relative who holds residence, plus financial means; or, without that tie, with an integration report and means.
1
Prove two years and the tie or the report
The sheet requires at least two years in Spain. The ties it describes are a spouse or registered partner and first-degree direct relatives with residence. If there is no tie, integration effort is assessed through a report.
2
Means: at least 100% of IPREM per person in that tie
The sheet says at least 100% of IPREM must be reached for the resident relative and 100% for the arraigo applicant, 200% in total, regardless of other members. The means are in Spain and come from those relatives, except for the self-employment case in Article 84.
3
Check the IPREM in force
The ministry guide, when explaining it, uses a monthly IPREM of €600, €7,200 a year over 12 payments and €8,400 over 14. The same guide says the budget law sets it and that the yearly change must be checked.
