Income-tax return

This is personal income tax, Act 35/2006. It is filed on the tax-agency e-office. The 2025 INE ICT survey measures that 38.1% of people aged 16 to 74 filed the return online in the previous twelve months.

Open the tax-agency e-office (opens in a new tab)

The button opens the administration’s website in another tab. MiCitas does not sign in or fill anything in there.

Who it is for

Someone who must file under the income-tax act and that year’s thresholds, or who wants to file to claim a refund. The thresholds change with the budget act and the campaign order. We do not copy them here.

  1. 1

    Sign in with electronic identification

The campaign runs on the e-office. Cl@ve, a certificate or DNIe are the usual means. The reference number is another path that the campaign itself explains each year.

  2. 2

    Check the tax data

The agency shows the data it already has. Correct anything that does not match before you send. Keep the filing receipt.
