Jobseeker registration and the SEPE appointment
To receive unemployment benefit you must be registered as a jobseeker. That registration, except in Ceuta and Melilla, is done by the regional employment service, not by SEPE. The SEPE benefits appointment is a separate step.
The button opens the administration’s website in another tab. MiCitas does not sign in or fill anything in there.
Who it is for
Someone looking for work or about to apply for a benefit. The SEPE FAQ distinguishes regional registration from the appointment at the benefits office.
1
Register with the regional service
SEPE puts it this way: jobseeker with the regional employment service. Only Ceuta and Melilla register with SEPE itself.
2
If you need the benefits office, book an appointment
The FAQ says the in-person application is by appointment, online or by phone. The phone it publishes is 91 926 79 70. If you can, the e-office avoids the appointment.
